There have been a very high number of injury cases and rollover deaths that have occurred in Toyota vehicles and this popular motor company has been accused by one of their former attorneys, of deliberately keeping quiet about evidence as a “ruthless conspiracy” to hide structural problems that could tarnish this well-known automobile manufacturer.

Dimitrios P. Biller filed a major federal racketeering lawsuit in Los Angeles, claiming that he lost his job due to complaints he made against Toyota Motor Sales concerning a situation of legal misconduct.

A statement was televised Friday on CBS News where Toyota claimed the charges that Biller filed to be “inaccurate and misleading.” The motor company further added, "Toyota takes its legal obligations seriously and works to uphold the highest professional and ethical standards."

Although the suit that names various lawyers and senior executives was filed in Los Angeles U.S. District Court on the 24th of July, the hearing date of Sept. 14 has just now been publicized.

Biller was employed by Toyota from 2003 until 2007, as a defending attorney for lawsuits filed that claimed rollover accidents were the blame of many deaths and injuries that occurred because of the unstable roof support of various Toyota pickups and SUV’s.

The complaint Biller filed says he was “surprised and alarmed” during his time spent with Toyota when he first realized they were withholding required evidence such as emails and other stored information from plaintiffs illegally.

The complaint also alleges that in lawsuits held in both Texas and Colorado, that Toyota defied court orders by not supplying important emails. After learning this, Biller attempted to obtain this information so it could be preserved. These efforts failed as the engineering department "was allowed to destroy relevant information and documents that should have been produced in, approximately, over 300 rollover accidents involving roof crush issues," claimed in the suit. The lawsuit further alleges that the motor company improperly and continuously withheld documents holding information on the designing and testing of the roofs of vehicles.

These claims have “blown away” Stuart Ollanik, an attorney of Denver’s Ollanik and Komyatte, who has settled and been involved with numerous rollover cases against the Toyota Company. They have him wondering out loud if the cases he was involved with "were resolved based on honest information or not."

In Friday’s statement, Toyota says they are "disappointed" that Biller has attempted "to avoid what we believe are his obligations as an attorney formerly employed by Toyota. In our view, Mr. Biller has repeatedly breached his ethical and professional obligations, both as an attorney and in his commitments to us, by violating attorney-client privilege."

River Collision Takes Life Of 29 Year Old Garden Grove Woman

September 26, 2009 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports a 29 year old Garden Grove woman was killed in a boating collision.

According to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s spokesman Randy Emon, the woman was identified as Sandra Alicia Door, age 29 from Garden Grove. Door was pronounced dead after a boating accident on the Colorado River in the vicinity of Needles, approximately three miles south of Interstate 40 bridge.

Emon stated the accident occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. when she was operating a 20 foot Polaris and made a U-turn in front of a Master Craft boat. At the time of the collision Door had a passenger, who was not injured in the collision when they were both thrown into the water. The operator of the Master Craft boat was also uninjured.

According to the San Bernardino Sheriff and Corners office the operator of the Master Craft was unable to stop or avoid the collision with Door and the craft she was operating.

Saturday Landing Frightens Passengers

June 28, 2009 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports the passengers of U.S. Airways Flight 1241 from Philadelphia to Tampa were frightened as the plane landed at Tampa International Airport Saturday.

According to reports the plane landed with a bang on the West runway where 90 to 95 percent of their jets land. The airport officials stated that the front tire under the nose of the plane blew out as the plane was landing. They went on to state that this created a potential dangerous situation for the passengers onboard the plane.

Airport workers brought staircases for the shaken passengers to get off of the plane and fire trucks arrived as a precaution.

Officials stated that while there were no serious injuries, the passengers were visibly shaken by the incident.

One passenger stated that as they were landing she was sitting in a window seat and was terrified. This is because the runway places the nose of the plane out over the bay and with the tire blown out the fear for passengers was very real that the plane might go into the bay.

Billy Mays the infomercial king was also aboard the plane, returning from a trip to Philadelphia from filming an Oxyclean commercial. Mays stated he was thankful to be on the ground and that suddenly the plane hit the ground hard. Things began dropping from the ceiling and he was struck on the head by some of the items. Mays joked he had a hard head.

According to reports by airport officials the FAA relased the plane and the runway stayed closed several hours.

U.S. Airways has made a statement that this was an isolated incident.

Women Injured In Office Building When Driver Crashes

Police stated that an 80-year-old man attempted to make a U turn in his Buick sedan and instead of hitting the break hit the gas sending the vehicle through an office building located at 21820 Burbank Boulevard. The offices contained in the building is the Table Bay Financial Inc. offices, when the vehicle entered the building where the offices of the firm’s CEO and chief financial officers offices are located. They were not in their offices as the vehicle continued through the building it struck the receptionists desk injuring the 56 year old woman, who was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The 80-year-old driver and his passenger were unharmed in the accident and he was not cited at the scene of the accident. Officials stated his ability to hold a California driver’s license will be reviewed.

Local Crash Takes Life Of Drummer Andy DeMize

According to reports an accident that occurred trapping two people in the rear seat of the vehicle when it caught fire took the life of Nekromantix (A Danish psychobilly band) drummer Andy DeMize.

The vehicle a 1972 Chevy Nova was reportedly driven by Osvaldo Orozco age 28 of Carson. Orozco was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, vehicular manslaughter while under the influence of alcohol and felony hit and run. It is reported he lost control of the vehicle traveling at 85 miles per hour, crossing all lanes of the freeway, striking a eucalyptus tree and catching fire.

Otozco and a passenger in the front of the vehicle fled the vehicle that caught fire killing DeMize and another passenger in the rear seat of the vehicle. According to reports Orozco called 911 to report the crash from a strawberry field.

Demize whose given name was Andrew Martinez a resident of La Habra was the drummer of the band Nekromantix. According to band members their thoughts are with Demize family and friends.

West Hollywood Dermatologist Indicted For Use Of Unapproved Substitute

According to reports by injury lawyers in Los Angeles, a popular West Hollywood dermatologist David Cary Hansen has been indicted after allegedly using an unapproved Botox substitute on patients without their knowledge.

Hansen was indicted on Wednesday in Los Angeles by a federal grand jury, for using the substitute drug that was known to have caused botulism when used in high doses. This drug was also found to have been labeled “ not for human use.” The indictment alleges the dermatologist was using this as an experimental way of reducing wrinkles according to prosecutors.

After Hansen’s arrest on Thursday morning prosecutors stated that the doctor is accused of purchasing the experimental drug from 2003 and 2004 in the state of Arizona and had purchased approximately 12 vials. These vials were marked for research purposes only according to prosecutors and were Botulinum Type A. The doctor is also charged with alleged mail fraud, and other offenses related to the drug.

The incidences took place at his clinic Skinstation, where prosecutors allege he used this drug, which cost less on his patients while he led them to believe he was doing injections of Botox. Hansen age 52 is facing up to 60 years in a federal prison if convicted, along with $600,000 in fines according to reports.

This is not the doctor’s first brush with medical treatment problems; according to reports in 2008 he had his medical license suspended for sixty days. This was for excessive treatment of approximately four patients.

Hansen has been released on $50,000 bail and a court date for January 12th has been scheduled.

Rain Blamed For Los Angeles Area Morning Freeway Accidents

According to automobile accident lawyers in Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos one of several accidents occurred at approximately 7:39 a.m. when a sport utility vehicle flipped on its side on the freeway south of Chauenga Boulevard. The northbound lanes on the Pasadena Freeway in the vicinity of South Pasadena were closed after a two vehicle accident which occurred at approximately 5:15 a.m. in the vicinity of the Avenue 60 off ramp. The on and off ramps of Avenue 60 were closed at approximately 6:00 a.m. and reopened at about 8:00 a.m. According to Officer Villalobos there were injuries reported but none were severe.

At approximately 6:30 a.m. there was a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on the Pasadena Freeway closing one lane in the vicinity of Via Marisol, where minor injuries were reported.

There was a closing of part of the 210 Freeway on the east side of Pasadena when a FedEx truck was involved in an accident and spilled oil. This closed some lanes for several hours.

There was also an accident that occurred at approximately 3:16 a.m. in the eastbound lanes in the vicinity of Sierra Madre Boulevard that closed the lanes for approximately three hours and no injuries were reported in this accident.

The westbound lane of the 210 Freeway was closed for approximately ten minutes at about 4:30 a.m. when a tractor-trailer had the trailer detach from the rig. When this occurred it blocked the transition road of the 210 Freeway in the vicinity of the 134 Freeway.

This is the primary system that is used for processing flight plans, causing delayed flights in the Eastern United States. The flights were delayed as long as two hours in some cases.

This malfunction in the software occurred at approximately 1:25 p.m. at Heatsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta. This is airport being the busiest hub saw the most delays of two hours that lasted into the evening hours. Other airports that were affected were ones from Chicago to New York.

Once everything had been redirected to Salt Lake City the center there began to fail because of the volume of flight plans requested. They began to turn them down due to the amount of requests and this stopped flights in the east, many of these flights put in a second request and this helped to delay flights even further, according to Hank Krakowski the chief operating officer of the FAA Air Traffic Organization.

Krakowski stated that software engineers had identified the problem that occurred and the engineers were reloading the program.

This is not unlike the malfunction that occurred in June 2007, that also delayed hundreds of planes and flights that ended up canceled, although Karkowski stated that it was not the same malfunction. He went on to say they would need to do an in-depth study into the malfunction because this is something they have never seen.

Officials from the Orange County Sheriff's Office have reported that one of their patrol cars collided with an SUV on Santa Ana Boulevard Friday night.

LT. Theodore Boyne of the Orange County Sheriff's Department stated that the unnamed officer was transporting two individuals to the Orange County Jail when a KIA SUV between Santa Ana Boulevard and Spurgeon Street hit the patrol car at 8:15 pm. The deputy, who is assigned to Lake Forest and the driver of the SUV did not incur any injuries.

Lt. Boyne also reported that the two individuals the officer was transporting were in the back of the patrol at the time of the collision. Both 62-year-old Steven Thomas and 20 year-old Jeremiah Smith were treated and released from a local hospital with minor injuries and returned home. Their citations will be issued to them in the mail. At the time of this report, it was unknown what they were cited for.

The woman has been identified as 18 years old, a resident of Riverside who was walking with her husband and child at the time of the accident.

Los Angeles car accident attorneys reported today that two farm workers were killed when the van they were riding in side clipped the front of a big rig and rolled over. Three of the 8 occupants of the van were not wearing seat belts. The two killed were ejected from the van along with a third passenger. Twenty one year old Ambrosio Martinez of Merced was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Astro Van northbound on Highway 99 near Ripon when the crash occurred as they were on their way to work in Manteca. According to Highway Patrol Officer Adrian Quintero, Martenez had tried to pass a big rig as he was trying to make the Jack Tone exit.

Reportedly, the van was going about 70 mph when the right rear section clipped the left front of the big rig causing Martinez to lose control, rolling the van several times.

Twenty six year old Melecio Callisto and Twenty two year old Gabriela Santiago, both from Merced, died at the scene of the accident. Four other occupants suffered major head injuries while two others sustained lacerations. All were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

The driver of the big rig, Jose L. Ramirez, was not hurt in the accident.

The Jack Tone off ramp was closed for several hours while Highway Patrol investigations were underway and debris was cleaned up.

Reportedly, Highway Patrol Officers later questioned Ambrosio Martinez at Doctors Hospital in Manteca and arrested him on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter. Martinez had failed to make all passengers wear a seat belt. Officers reported that Martinez was not driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol but was not licensed to drive.

On July 15th, another seven farm workers were killed near Westley when their Ford Explorer was involved in a collision with a septic truck.

According to reports by Culver City to Laughlin casino tour bus accident lawyers, a casino tour bus operated by Royal American Tour Bus, that was en-route Saturday on Interstate 40 crashed outside of Barstow California.

It was reported by officials that on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 Saturday at approximately 11a.m. in the Mojave Desert the tour bus that was coming from Culver City and going to Laughlin Nevada. The accident occurred about forty miles east of Barstow and approximately one hundred and thirty-two miles from Laughlin.

The reports are that the tour bus veered from the highway and into a dirt median where it then overturned and skidded approximately one hundred feet. It has been reported that the tour bus was in the left lane traveling at approximately 70 miles per hour and drifted approximately forty feet to the dirt median.

The crash injured twenty-one passengers and there was one fatality according to officials the woman who was killed was thrown from the tour bus, she was identified as age 31 of Los Angeles.

In a statement by California Highway Patrol Officer Taj Johnson eight of the passengers were severely injured while thirteen were said to have sustained minor injuries in the accident.

After the crash occurred as temperatures in the bus began to rise some of the passengers were able to escape though the windshield that had shattered and many were aided by other passengers and motorists that had stopped to assist the victims of the tour bus crash.

A San Bernardino County Fire Department spokesman Tracey Martinez stated that the passengers boarded the Fox Hills Mall in Culver City and the bus was a Royal American Tours & Charter of Glendale.

The identities of the injured victims have not been released but it is known that Faith Creers mother and daughter were also passengers on the tour bus. There were also reports that she may have been traveling with her husband.

There were approximately six helicopters and nine emergency vehicles, some of which were from a nearby military base. According to a California Highway Patrol spokesperson most of the passengers were from West Los Angles that were on the tour bus.

According to reports a Friday night accident that occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Betteravia and Rosemary Roads involved two vehicles that crashed head-on leaving one dead.

In the head-on crash that took place one driver has been identified as 83 year-old Walter Williams who sustained fatal injuries when his car was struck by an SUV driven by a man identified as 27 year-old Jose Gonzalez. Highway 101 Motorcycle Accident Turns Fatal

The accident occurred in the northbound lanes near El Sueno Road in Santa Barbara and involved a Nissan Altima and in reports the California Highway Patrol statements said that the driver of the Nissan spotted road work signs and slammed the breaks on, this caused the Nissan to slide sideways going into the center divider.

Sunday night on the 55 Freeway was the scene of a multi-vehicle accident ended in two fatalities.

The first accident occurred when a man riding a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed lost control in the northbound lane of the 55 Freeway in the vicinity of Nohl Ranch Road. The rider was struck the center divider and was thrown from the bike; he was then struck by other oncoming traffic and it is known there were several vehicles involved.

The other victim in the multi-vehicle accident was a Honda driven by Kristian Casey who was later identified by the Long Beach Coroners Office.

Upon observing the body on the freeway, she tried to swerve out of its path when she lost control of the Honda and crashed into the guardrails, this threw the car into the path of oncoming traffic where a number of cars crashed into the Honda.

Both accident victims were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident according to reports.

After this multi-vehicle accident the California Highway Patrol closed the southbound lanes of the 55 Freeway and all motorists were made to exit on Lincoln Avenue, which did not reopen until approximately 5:00 am.

Plane Crash injures Four Including a Child

It has been reported that Tuesday afternoon at approximately 1:30 rescuers were in search of a small plane that crashed in the vicinity of the French Valley Airport in Riverside County.

When the plane was found in a canyon the tail section was broken off and the four people aboard had injuries of varying degrees, the oldest a 52 year old man and the youngest a 7 year old girl along with two other women. They were all taken to local hospitals for treatment.

According to reports a man named Travis Turner along with a person making repairs to an air conditioning unit on the roof of a church witnessed the plane fly over with the engine having problems and dropping into the canyon.

The accident occurred at Carrows Restaurant on Broadway in Santa Maria when a 90-year-old woman who has been identified as Hortence Villa hit the restaurant with her vehicle. It has been reported that the driver accelerated the vehicle when she thought she was applying the break.

The vehicle’s driver drove through the glass windows on the building at approximately a little after 10:00 am on Wednesday. According to the police reports the bumper of the vehicle hit the window glass and also bent a pole.

Missing Cessna Found

Since February 2nd a search has been ongoing for a missing Cessna 340 and its four passengers, Thursday it was reported that this small plane was found in Millard Canyon, Riverside County.

The wreckage of this small aircraft has been found spread across some very rugged terrain and it is thought that it may have hit the ridge within Millard Canyon at a point where it went over the peak and down the other side of the peak according to reports from the National Transportation Safety Board.

The Cessna 340 which was smashed into small pieces upon impact carried the pilot who has been identified as Michael John Bybyk, his wife Joyce Bybyk, another pilot Alvin Baker and the last passenger Gail Pugel.

The plane is said to have left the airport close to Indio February 2nd at approximately 1:30 pm and was heading to the Chino Airport, which is about a 30 minute flight.

Searching for the craft was started on February 6th after Alvin Bakers daughter reported him missing and the aerial crews that might have found the wreckage sooner did not due to snow in the area. When the craft and passengers were found three days after Bakers daughter reported him missing the crash site was approximately seven miles northeast of the Banning Municipal Airport. A Santa Maria afternoon accident sent three people to the hospital on Wednesday; two with major injuries and one with minor injuries were transported from the scene of the accident.

The accident occurred on Betteravia Road on Wednesday, east of Sinton Road and according to police reports the accident involved a Honda Civic and a Ford Aerostar minivan traveling in opposite directions on Betteravia Road.

The Honda Civic according to reports wandered into the lane of the Aerostar when they collided head on, there was no information readily available as to why the Honda Civic left its lane.

The driver and passengers in the Honda Civic were extracted from the car and transported to the hospital, Odelia Vega Elisario and Diana Marie Ramos were said to have had major injuries and the other passenger was transported to the hospital with minor injuries according to reports.

There was minor damage to the victim's car when Spears, the lip sync singer crashed her car into the parked car while she was driving through Studio City, California, in a parking lot. Spears was booked back in October 15, 2007 in Los Angeles superior court for misdemeanor counts of hit-and-run and driving without a valid California driver's license at the time of the collision.

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded Wednesday, November 14, 2007 to a Los Angeles pedestrian accident that resulted in a fatality in the Stevenson Ranch area.

The pedestrian crash took place at Pico Canyon Road and Stevenson Ranch Parkway.

Deadly Big Rig Truck Crash Near LAX Causes Major Traffic Jam on 10-30-07

Marina del Rey, California-10-30-07: Shortly before 5:00 a.m., Los Angeles Big Rig Truck Accident Attorneys announced on Law Fuel that a 405 freeway big rig truck crash involving a towed crane on a dolly. The California Highway Patrol, Office Sandoval, said the CHP is investigating, as all but one Northbound Lane and two South Bound lanes are closed down.

According the the CHP, witnesses state the dolly towing a large crane fishtailed and caused a large crane to scrape into the ground and to fall into the asphalt. Witnesses on the scene claim that a the crane arm came loose and swung into a freeway overpass pillar and into opposing traffic.

The big rig truck cab caught fire and apparently killed the driver by burning him to death. The CHP is seeking more witnesses. There are no other reports of injury or death at this time. The crash is located by LAX and Inglewood. 405 freeway traffic is not expected to clear up until later. The CHP states that the heavy equipment needed to remove the crane and big rig is stuck in traffic, according to a live FOX News report. The LA County Coroner is on the scene and investigating the death of the big rig truck driver.
